The META description tag describes your site's content and gives search engine spiders an accurate summary of your site filled with multiple keywords or The way something is explained or the process, act or technique of describing something is called its description.
These are the general rules you should follow when optimizing your description tag:
#. Place the keywords phrase at the beginning of your description to achieve the best possible ranking.
#. If possible , don’t use stop words like “is, a, and, or”
#. Many search engine use description to describe your site so make sure you not only repeat each of your keyword phrases at least once but make this a true representation of the page that the visitor will be viewing when come to your site and try to keep your description under 255-270 chars.
